Erste Tag in Luzern.

As the 3rd Monday of Summer school in Darmstadt was a holiday, the group of us seized the opportunity to travel somewhere further over the long weekend break. The majority went to Rugen, a baltic island in Northern Germany to chillax with some other Singporean students studying in Germany while wn zl and i flew to Lucerne, a city in Switzerland :)

The journey didnt start off well cuz of the problems we faced while checking in. It's a really long story but wn and i had an adrenaline-packed experience of rushing for our flight while zl missed his. To make matters worse, zl lost his luggage too. It was a complex mixture of feelings back then mans. But i thank God for things are always under his control and He always has a way out for us.

The comfy train we took from Zurich airport to Lucerne.

Row of cafes in Luzern.

Nice antique car :P

HAHA. posed with this Lambo we spotted on the streets.

Post Office of Lucerne.

Streets with the typical tram u see arnd in Luzern.

The funky antique lift in our budget hotel! The lift has only 2 walls with its frame and you push the door open to enter the lift. It's also frickin small and there was barely enuff space for the 3 of us and our luggage. hahas, pretty cool rite!

Famous Chapel Bridge & Wasserturm (Water tower) in Luzern. I think this is well-taken and like it alot!! heh. The Chapel Bridge is the oldest wooden bridge in Europe and the octangonal tower was used as a prison and torture chamber.

Winnie and me on the Chapel Bridge. There's a series of paintings inside the bridge depicting the history of Luzern but many were destroyed in a fire.

Peek a boo!

Nice scenery, isnt it :)
God's paintings are sooo awesome! We were blessed with great weather (cooling and didnt rain) too, which made walking around more enjoyable and relaxing.

Cheese fondue! :) It tasted kinda bitter initially cuz the mixture of cheese contains wine!..but got betta towards the end either cuz the alcohol evaporated or i adapted to the taste. But on the whole it's still enjoyable cuz i simply love cheese :)

Picturesque evening view from the balcony of our hotel room. Damnn niceee lah, but i had to zoom to the max to capture this as the mountain was very far away.
